The Mexican Football Association recently declared that they will not play against Portugal in a friendly match on 30th May.
Mexico had queued up a game against Carlos Queiroz's men as a part of their rigorous preparations for the World Cup in South Africa.
But they are now seeking new new opponents after the two organizations failed to resolve the problems.
While talking to reporters, Mexican FA president Nestor De la Torre said, “The match against Portugal will not be played because they haven't been able to resolve some details.”
Further, he said, “Now we are trying to replace that match with another one because on 30th May we have to play a match as we will be on tour in Europe. We don't want to leave that date empty.”
Meanwhile, Mexico planned to play various friendly games before World Cup finals, including games against countries like England at Wembley on 24th May.
Now, Javier Aguirre's side will also play against Senegal, Angola, Chile, Holland, Italy and Ecuador in May and early June.
