Mexico appoints new boss at Wal-Mart

According to the statement issued by the Wal-Mart, “Latin America chief Vicente Trius would be leaving, though a reason for his departure wasn't given. It was announced in late May that he would lead the Latin America operations starting July 6.”
Mexico early Dec consumer prices surge 0.4%

The poll, which was conducted by 15 analysts, said that core consumer prices, excluding food and energy costs, increased by 0.29 percent in the first 15 days of this month (Dec).
Meanwhile, Mexico's headline inflation rate MXCPIF=ECI came up by 0.45 percent in the first half of December 2008.
New Zealand to face Mexico in World Cup warm-up

The New Zealand team will face the world’s 17th ranked team in Los Angeles on March 3, in the first of up to six warm-up matches for the finals in South Africa.
Further, New Zealand will play against world champions Italy, Slovakia and Paraguay in Group F at the World Cup and national coach Ricki Herbert told reporters that the Kiwis had been eager to play against the Latin American team in the build-up.
NFF selects 75 players for Mexico 2011

Presently, all the selected players are presently enjoying the Glass House’s scholarship in different schools all over the nation.

The study was conducted by website TripAdvisor and it quizzed around 3,000 users on next year’s holiday hot-spots, and amazingly Nairn, Inverness-shire, was only piped by Troncones, Mexico.
In the Top Five World Destinations for 2010 rankings, Nairn beat Unesco world heritage site of El Chalten, Patagonia, Patara in Turkey and Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany.
Mexico’s inflation for 2010 seen at 5.04%

As per the study, economists and analysts said in early December that they anticipate inflation will go up to 5.04% in 2010 as compared with a prediction of 4.86% in the previous month’s poll.
From the starting of next year, Mexican consumers will have to pay more consumption taxes under a revenues package sanctioned by lawmakers in the month of October.

Mexico retailers Nov Same-Store Sales Decline 2.2 percent

Further, Antad added that the total sales at the stores surged 3.8 percent in the month of November last year to 71.9 billion pesos.
However, Same-Store grocery sales declined by 1 percent, whereas clothing sales fell 4.7 percent in the first 11 months of this year.
The fall in the same-store in the month of November contrasted with a 0.1% surge in the first eleven months of 2009.
Mexico urges Banks to help economy by boosting lending

While talking to media, the minister said, “The banking system is well capitalized, has no systemic risks and has the ability to boost lending.”
Cordero accepted his new role on Wednesday when Mexican President Felipe Calderon rearranged the cabinet.
In the meantime, Agustin Carstens was most likely to become the governor of the Mexican Bank soon after being sanctioned by the nation’s upper legislative house.
